Welcome Six More Countries for 72h Visa-Free Stay

As one of China’s four cities which implement the 72-hour visa-free policy, Guangzhou welcomes tourists of six more countries: Albania Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia from December 1, 2013. 


Tourists who has valid international travel documents and air tickets, transferring at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and intending to visit a third country, can be stay in specified area for three days without a visa.


In addition, Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu are permitted to carry out the policy. And there are another 45 country included in the 72-hour visa-free list: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Swiss, UAE, UK, Ukraine and USA.


Conditions of 72-hour Visa-free Stay:

1. Valid visa to third country and flight ticket required.
2. Register Only at Airport
3. 72 hours Countdown upon registration
4. No leave Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Chengdu
