In addition to 19 different cities, Guangzhou has established international friendship relationship with two more ones - Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, and Incheon of Korea in the first half of December in 2013. Up to now, the list of International Friendship City of Guangzhou has been increased to 21.

On December 6 and 13, aiming at improving the mutual communication and cooperation, Guangzhou signed memorandums with Incheon and Phom Penh.

The Incheon delegation also showed an intention that they wanted to learn about the experience of organizing the Asian Games as Guangzhou was once the host of 2010 Asian Games, in order to prepare for its host of the 2014 edition.
