Guangzhou Metro Line 6 started to work the day before yesterday, in Dec. 28, 2013. Considered to be a reducer for the high pressure of Guangzhou traffic, the new line is expected to embrace up to 700,000 passengers every day.

Past several densely-populated residential areas and commercial areas, Line 6 consists of 21 stations and 7 interchanges. The minimum intervals between trains during rush-hour (7:30am – 9:00am & 5:30pm – 7:00pm) will be approximately 3 minutes and 22 seconds.

Noted that passengers who live near the stations of Line 6 should notice station signs, broadcast, Metro TV and Guangzhou Metro official WeChat and to acquire latest information about the routine crowd control.

Regarded as the first special line of history and culture in Guangzhou, Line 6 is highlighted by the most stations, the shortest intervals, public toilets in the stations, wheelchair area, optimized air condition system, IC phone, etc, dedicated to serve and satisfy passengers.
