Free Wi-Fi Available at Guangzhou South Railway Station
The coach station at Guangzhou South Railway Station has taken six major steps to improve services in the summer, including the provision of free Wi-Fi services requiring no password.
It is estimated that nearly 35% of the about 30,000 high-speed railway passengers arriving at Guangzhou South Railway Station every day to take coaches to various destinations throughout the province. In view of the influx of passengers in the summer, the coach station has adopted six major measures to better serve the passengers.
According to station staff, the station's customer service center can help passengers purchase tickets for departures from Fangcun, Haizhu, Jiaokou and Panyu coach stations.
Amusement facilities will also be set up at the coach station for children and free Wi-Fi will be made available throughout the station.
To reduce passengers' wait time, the coach station has increased the number of coaches to Shenzhen, Dongguan, Huizhou and Foshan. During peak period, coaches on certain routes will depart every 15 to 20 minutes. There will also be coaches for railway passengers arriving at 11 p.m.
