Guangzhou International Lighting Festival will celebrate its 4th edition from Nov.1, lasting for over 4 months. The opening ceremony will kick off on Nov.1, when theHaixinsha Park, Huacheng Square and 9 bridges situated on the river will be lit up to amaze all the participants including locals and tourists. The opening night will be a special one, as famous musicians and dancers all the way from France will be invited to celebrate the 50th year of Sino-France diplomatic relations. During November, the government will build a neon-light city on the Pearl River.

During November, the government will build a neon-light city on the Pearl River. However, since last year was a bit of a nightmare experience as a crowd of visitors made the viewing very hectic, it would probably be a good idea to appreciate the lights after the opening, as you will be much more relaxed and free to soak up their beauty.
