The first session of the Sino-French Business Forum was held at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich on April 11. The event enabled many guests to identify their foreign counterparts, potential partners and customers and was organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCIFC) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Nearly 110 persons, among them business top managers and officials representing French and Chinese companies such as BNP, Veolia and Mazars, attended the two conferences of the forum. Mr. Nicolas Guibert, Vice President of CAPSA, firstly explained how to launch a new premium brand on the Chinese car market, with particular references to their new DS models. Following the official, Ms. Chen Xiaojuan from Tianhe District Government introduced the main investment opportunities for French companies in the area.

Then a business dinner gave the opportunity for participants to represent their industry and exchange ideas efficiently though nine thematic tables: Environment & Energy, Architecture & Design, Consumer Goods, Audit, Services, Invest in France, Automotive & Helicopter, Food & Beverage, and the table for Officials.
