Guiyang-Guangzhou High Speed Railway Put into Operation
A newly-opened high-speed railway line stated operating on Dec.26, 2014, linking Guiyang, capital of landlocked mountainous province of Guizhou in southwest China, with Guangzhou, Guangdong's capital city in south area.The bullet train runs through a grand bridge in Foshan city in Guangdong, traversing the beautiful Guilin city in Guangxi. The 857-kilometer railway connects the southwestern area of the country and Pearl River Delta region, shortening the traveling time between Guiyang and Guangzhou.
The whole journey directly takes about 5 hours, with 20 daily runs. The through fare of this line is 320RMB for first class, 266.5RMB for second class.
