A new air route departing from Guangzhou to Jiuzhaigou of Sichuan Province will open at the end of March.

There will be two flights a day, one is provided by Air China and the other by China Southern Airlines. The Air China flight is non-stop and it takes off at 11:25 from Guangzhou Baiyun New Airport and lands at 14:15 at Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport. China Southern Airlines flight takes off at 8:05 and stops at Chongqing, some 700 km away from Jiuzhaigou. After an hour stay at Chongqing it is scheduled to land at Huanglong Airport at 12:00.

Jiuzhaigou is best known for it natural scenery and tourists throng there in the spring.
