The annual International Food and Fun Fair of GIVES (Guangdong International Volunteer Expatriate Service) is held at 6pm this coming Saturday in the Canton Place in Zhujiang New Town with fantastic food and family fun guaranteed.Visitors can enjoy a global tour for your taste buds while being entertained by performances and performers from around the world

GIVES will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2015 and the flagship Fair follows the tried and tested successful recipe of combining international performances with food and drink from all corners of the world, ensuring it has become one of the highlights of the ex-pat community calendar.

With the motto of working "Hand in Hand", GIVES brings together all aspects of that international community, from schools to consulates, from chambers of commerce to world renowned hotels, aiming at joining hands with the local community in many different ways, through sport, through music, through art, through farming and through autism support. It stands for the spirit of the four I's - Interaction, Insight, Inspiration and Integrity.

The fair is not the only charity event on Saturday and many people are planning to start their day by supporting the Terry Fox Run for cancer charities at Luhu Golf Club. As with GIVES Fair, it is part of the expat calendar and another event worthy of support.
