Guangzhou Metro Company is going to launch one-day tickets and 3-day tickets for the convenience of tourists. Card holders will be able to take the metro for unlimited times within 24 hours or 72 hours from the first time they enter the metro.

The company has designed three different patterns to present different aspects of Guangzhou. Each of the three designs has made for the one-day and three-day card respectively.

The first design depicts the modern and energetic side of Guangzhou with artistic and colorful icons of local landmarks and delicacies; the second presents traditional architectural culture in Guangzhou; while the third is to show the localized features of Guangzhou. Characters of Cantonese words and Cantonese snacks are depicted.

The three patterns are open for public voting from Nov.22 to Nov.27. And the pricing of the tickets are still under discussion.
