The second phase of the autumn Canton Fair, which specialized in toys and gifts, crafts, garden tools and supplies and local specialties, closed last Saturday on October 27 with 11.4% decrease of overseas buyers than the last session. Statistics by October 26 show that there are 147,732 overseas buyers visiting the Fair.

Transactions from the US fell by 10.91 percent compared with the same session of the previous fair, the organizers said, and garden tools and supplies transactions from Japan declined by 68.16 percent compared with the second session at the last autumn fair.

The third phase will start tomorrow on Wednesday (October 31) and specialize in Textiles & Garments, Shoes, Office Supplies, Cases & Bags and Recreation Products, Medicines, Medical Devices and Health Products and Food. International Pavilion is also set up in Phase Three.
