Summer vacation is around the corner when children and students can enjoy free leisure time and many interesting summer programs.This year, Guangzhou Opera House will held four major shows that will stimulate the imagination and creativity of children, from dramas with integration of familiar nursery rhymes and exhilarating dance to puppet shows that are both entertaining and full of meaning, among many others.

In addition, a live theatrical production will be conducted to invite audiences to think, sing and play along. The leading role, Dora, is designed to teach kids to explore, communicate, overcome obstacles, solve puzzles and discover a diverse and exciting world. This play has both Chinese and English versions. 

Paper Windmill Fantasia
With integration of familiar nursery rhymes, passionate dance, literary meaning and sophisticated art forms, this drama claims an unprecedented performance demonstrating the unique innovations of the modern theater.

Do-Re-Mi Pods’ Rainbow Dream
The Do-Re-Mi Pods invite kids to the fantasy and playful Rainbow Dream this time. Everything could happen in the dream, and you will meet a lot of new friends. In addition to the wonderful melody, there are also the familiar adapted nursery rhymes such as “The Sun Comes Up” and "Raising Your Hands” in the Rainbow Dream. Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys 
Dora has lost her teddy bear and the search is on to find him. With help from the audience, Boots, Map, Backpack, Diego and more, Dora uses her directional, counting, musical and language skills to successfully pass through the Number Pyramid and the Mixed-up Jungle to reach the City of Lost Toys. But watch out! You never know what that sneaky fox Swiper might be up to along the way!
