Huangshan International MTB Festival 2009

Ever since 2005, Huangshan city has been developing its own brand as a leisure and sports center through a series of activities including Huangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain)Climbing Festival, Hiking Festival, and the famous Huangshan International Mountain Bike Festival.

The Huangshan Mountain Bike Festival is the only of its kind in China. Set near the mythical Mt. Huangshan and with a track crossing ancient settlements, dense bamboo forests and tea terraces, it offers participants a mountain biking experience unlike any other.

It is a good chance to discover the Chinese countryside on two wheels. Experienced bikers and amateurs, bike-fans and beginners will all enjoy their time to have some fresh air or to meet new friends.

The 4th Huangshan International MTB Festival will be held on April 4–5th, 2009 with below highlights:

  • One of the most influential bike events in China
  • 370 participants in 2008, and much more bikers expected in the year of 2009
  • A great mix of amateurs and experienced bikers
  • Exciting MTB tracks certificated by UCI (International Cycling Union)
  • Beautiful nature along the tracks across World Culture Heritage villages, flower fields, and bamboo forests
