According to Guangzhou Metro Corp, Guangzhou subways will be offered free ride for the athletes, officials from different countries, working staff and audience with game tickets during the 2010 Asian Games.

With seven new subway lines under construction, Guangzhou Metro has taken on the responsibilities of ensuring smooth transportation during the upcoming Asian Games. Eighty percent of the 2010 Asian Games venues will be connected to the convenient subway lines when Guangzhou hosts the grand event. By 2010, Guangzhou will have at least nine subway lines stretching nearly 230 km.

The poster of Martial Arts painted vividly on the wall of Guangzhou merto station for coming 2010 Asian Games.

Guangzhou Metro Corp has been purchasing more trains for the new lines, working over all-night subways operation and maintenance model adjustment, so as to provide more considerable services.
