How to attend Canton Fair?
1. Overseas visitors and Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices in China should apply for the Invitation Card issued by Canton Fair.
2. Domestic enterprises should apply for the booths of Canton Fair to the local department in charge of foreign trade.

Who is qualified to apply for the Invitation Card?
1. Visitors with Overseas Passport (H.K./Macau ID Card, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate) or Overseas Residence Permit valid for over one year.
2. Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices.

Why should visitors apply for the Invitation Card?
Canton Fair has two kinds of Invitation Card for visitors. One is called E-invitation and the other is Paper Invitation Card.
With the Invitation Card, visitor could
1. Receive the entry visa to Guangzhou (only Paper Invitation Card valid).
2. Get registered and receive free entrance pass to the Fair.
3. Receive a set of Directory of Chinese Export Commodities Fair's Exhibitors (one set for each card).

What's the difference between E-invitation and Paper Invitation Card?
1. E-invitation is issued for visitors who do not need the Invitation Card to apply for the entry visa to Guangzhou. It can be shared by all visitors from the same company. A copy one is VALID.
2. Paper Invitation Card is issued for visitors who need the Invitation Card to apply for the entry visa to Guangzhou. A Paper Invitation Card can be shared by three people from the same company in their visa application and fair registration. A copy one is INVALID.
It is mailed to visitors.

How should Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices in China apply for the Invitation Card?
Chinese representatives with foreign companies' representative offices in China should apply for paper Invitation Cards directly to the Foreign Liaison Department, China Foreign Trade Centre. Documents required:
Copy of Business Registration Certificate of Foreign Company's representative office in China.
Copy of Valid employee certificate issued by China's Administration for Industry and Commerce.
Copy of Employee's ID Card
The Card is nominative and can not be shared.

How should local interpreters get registered?
Local interpreters should get registered in Registration Office at the Fair's Gate 1.
Documents required:
Interpretation Certificate (Diploma, Education Certificate, or Employee Certificate)
The interpreter's ID Card
Signature by the foreign employer
Service Charge: RMB 200/day

Being a regular visitor to Canton Fair, I have not received the invitation card for this session. What shall I do?
Kindly approach the Foreign Liaison Department, China Foreign Trade Centre for enquiry.

How to make the E-pass (PVC Card)?
E-Pass (PVC card) can be applied for through the BEST--Buyer E-Service Tool on Canton Fair's official website: http://www.cantonfair.org.cn/. Once your application is accepted, a Notice for Getting Card will be sent to your email. With this Notice and your valid personal documents, including the passport, H.K. or Macao I.D. Card/ Home-return Permit, or Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate, you may pick up your E-Pass at your appointed venue.

How to print out E-invitation?
Please access the Buyer E-Service Tool (BEST) with User Name and Password of your company and click "Print out E-invitation".
